Our Clinic

Your first visit at St. Kilda Road Chiropractic

Helping to restore and optimize your spinal health begins with taking a thorough case history. This helps your Chiropractor clarify your reasons for seeking care, what your goals and expectations are,  details of past events such as surgeries, accidents, etc,. which may be influencing your current state of health, and form a general impression of your lifestyle and how it may be impacting your health and wellbeing.

Next, your Chiropractor will conduct a physical examination consisting of  orthopaedic, neurological, and Chiropractic specific testing. These examinations help identify areas of spinal malfunction and resulting nervous system deficit. If required, you may be referred for further tests such as X-rays or MRI scans, to determine if there are any structural  problems associated with your spine.

Next, your Chiropractor will explain his findings, including giving a diagnosis and outlining the management plan you need to restore and maintain a healthy spine. Progress is monitored with periodical examinations and follow-up reports.
