St Kilda Road Chiropractic is open during these time of Covid restrictions.
Our clinics are considered a low risk and essential health service. However, we appreciate that our patients may have their own concerns, despite the easing of restrictions. You are always welcome to contact us should you have any particular concerns you wish to discuss.
If you have symptoms of a respiratory infection (a ‘cold’), such a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, you should either seek medical attention from your GP, though remember to let them know in advance why you are attending, or, contact the Covid hotline on 1800 675 398 and they may direct you to the nearest testing centre. The closest testing centres to our clinic are at the Alfred Hospital, and Prahran Town HAll. and call in advance. A full list of centres are listed at https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/getting-tested-coronavirus-covid-19Covid
With hygiene playing a large role in preventing the spread of the virus, we are thoroughly disinfecting the adjustment table prior to every treatment.
We are scheduling appointments further apart as we are trying to prevent ‘crossover’ of patients in our waiting rooms. Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time (not early or late).
Be mindful of not unnecessarily touching surfaces such as door handles. The clinic door will generally be left open prior to your appointment so that you do not need to touch it. If the door is locked, please knock.
Dr Grant will be wearing a face mask for aspects of your treatment which are more ‘face to face’. Though not deemed entirely necessary, it is better to be safe than sorry. If Dr Grant himself is sick, he will reschedule your appointment. If you are ill, please call to do the same.
These simple measures will make a difference in minimising risk of transmission. So far, the restrictions in place such as social distancing have done an incredible job of minimising the impact of Covid in Australia. As the situation improves , please remain vigilant, and follow the advice of our Government health officials.
Stay Safe, stay well!
